About the Authors
Jack Roseman, Direcor of the Roseman Institute, was formerly the John R. Thorne Professor of Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University where he taught for 13 years. Prior to that, he was the founder of three companies and President of On-Line Systems, an American Stock Exchange company eventually sold to Sprint. A serial entrepreneur and award-winning educator, Jack is a wise, warm, insightful and often amusing guide to the realities of owning your own business. Steven N. Czetli is the former Business Editor of the Pittsburgh Press. Prior to that he was the Editor of the Pittsburgh Business Times, and Executive Editor of T.E.Q. Magazine, the monthly publication of Pittsburgh Technology Council. He is the co-author of a book, Silent Witness, which was published by St. Martin's Press and President of Editor's Aide, Inc., a media consulting firm. Currently he publishes TechyVent/Pittsburgh, an online newsletter for Western Pennsylvania business (www.techyvent.com). His support for small business contributed to his being selected as the 2003 Journalist of the Year for Region III of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
